GEORG FISCHER 2540

Insertion flow sensor, stainless, high temp., DN40-DN900
Georg Fischer 2540 Insertion Flow Sensor

The 2540 series stainless steel insertion paddlewheel flow sensors are the highest specification for higher pressure and temperature applications.

Suitable for Low Flow velocity applications.

Unique internal circuitry eliminates the need for magnets in the process fluid, enabling flow measurement of 0.1 to 6 m/s (0.3 to 20 ft/s) while maintaining the advantages of insertion sensor design.

Ultraflon 500C bearings and Tungsten Carbide pin provide exceptional wear resistance.

A hot-tap version is possible for processes where flow cannot be stopped to service or replace the flowmeter.

The 2540 sensors are to be used with the following controllers or transmitters:

  • 8900  Controller for up to 6 Channels , such as Flow, pH, temp, pressure, level, ORP  and conductivity; panel mount
  • 9900  Display Transmitter, for either Panel / Field mount or Integral mount directly onto the sensor
