GEORG FISCHER 2280

The Georg Fischer 2280 Vibration Fork aka Tuning fork or Swing Fork, can be mounted on a vessel to detect level of liquids or granular or powdered solids.

The principle of operation is the fork probe vibrate made to vibrate by an electronic circuit and as the medium covers the fork the amount of vibration will vary. The on board sensors detect this change of vibration and this triggers the output signal with or without delay period.

Available in probe lengths of either 69mm or 125mm, as well as the option of BSP or NPT threaded process connections.

It is possble to have a mounting head for easy termination of power and signal wires, ora more compact sensor with a 3m cable.

An IECEX certified Hazardous Area option is available for selection.
