Harting Han F+B Connectors Available from ADM
The Han F+B series is a range of specialised connectors designed for the rigours of food & beverage production. The F+B series is specifically designed to comply with hygienic and sanitary standards; these connectors are built to last and withstand chemical treatments, pressure jets, and hot water washdowns.
With a specialised design, the Han F+B series features the following capabilities for working in hygienic and sanitary environments;
- IP69K-Rating
- Designed to operate temporarily in submerged conditions, the F+B series features IP69K ratings. This rating also allows for protection against pressurised water jets.
- FDA 21-Approved Polypropylene Housing
- Non-toxic plastic construction resistant to EcoLab-certified cleaning agents and aggressive acids/alkalis for washdown environments.
- Wide Operating Temperature
- Housing is rated for operation between -40°C and +125°C.
- Easy-to-Clean Hygienic Surfaces:
- Smooth surfaces reducing crevices and dirt pockets, preventing bacterial proliferations.
- Fast coupling & uncoupling
- Han F+B series is designed for quick and secure connection, minimising handling time even with wet or gloved hands during servicing and changeovers.
Han F+B Connection Types; Power, Data, Signal & Hybrid
This can range from 16A and 40A power options to signal and data communications (RJ45), and, with the exception of hybrid variations, enable a combination of power and control or power and data.
The Han F+B series is distinct from the Han modular range and features its own set of F+B-related certification designs to ensure all combinations remain safe and usable in these conditions.
The Han F+B series is suitable in all sanitary and hygienic environments where wash-down/splash zones are rated for EHEDG Zone 1 and Zone 2 applications, including:
