What are the Han Domino modules?
The Domino range is comprised of two building blocks or ‘cubes’. Each module consists of two half-width units, or ‘cubes’, to make up one module slot. This enables a slot to be taken up by two different connection types, whereas traditionally in Han modular inserts, only one connection type would have taken up a slot. This effectively achieves the same level of connectivity at 50% the space and reduces the overall weight of the connector.
Han Modular Domino Compatibility & Capacity
The Han Domino range is designed to integrate with existing Harting housings, ranging from;
Smaller configurations: Han 6B housing: supporting 4 Domino modules (8 cubes).
Larger configurations: Han L32B housing; supporting up to 16 Domino modules (32 cubes).
This compatibility enables designers to build customised connector layouts while maintaining a compact and consistent overall footprint across their installation.
