Harting T1 industrial connectors are engineered to minimise size and weight while maximising efficiency across modern industrial networks. With support for data rates up to 1 Gbit/s and Power over Data Line (PoDL) up to 50 W, T1 connectors enable streamlined connectivity from field devices directly to control systems. Their reduced cable diameter and lower mass compared to traditional Ethernet solutions make them ideal for space-constrained installations and high-density process environments.

A key advantage of the T1 interface is its ability to extend Ethernet communication directly to the sensor level. Traditional sensor networking often relies on additional gateways or protocol converters; however, T1 eliminates this complexity by enabling native Ethernet connectivity at the field level. This reduces infrastructure overhead, minimises latency, and simplifies system architecture.

 

The Harting T1 series is compliant with IEC 63171-6, ensuring standardised mating compatibility and reliable industrial performance. Connectors feature a robust metal locking mechanism and are available in IP65/IP67-rated variants, providing protection against dust ingress and water exposure in harsh environments.
