Invertek P2 Solar Pump Variable Speed Drive – Water Pumping in Remote Off-Grid Applications
Invertek have designed and built a variable speed drive to support remote, off-grid water pumping applications for rural and agricultural use. The OptiDrive P2 Solar Pump VSD is a variation of the Invertek OptiDrive P2 Performance VSD range, designed for the rigours of remote applications.

The P2 Solar Pump VSD is optimised for solar power consumption, with a built-in MPPT algorithm that enables greater efficiency from available solar power throughout the day.
This system is designed to operate within an extended DC voltage range, with high-voltage capabilities for pumps requiring 345-800VDC, as well as lower-voltage pumps ranging from 185-410VDC. The P2 Solar Pump VSD systems are designed to integrate with AC induction motors, PM, SynRM, and Brushless DC motors.
The P2 solar pump VSDs feature a dual power supply, accepting DC power provided by photovoltaic solar array panels and AC power from on-site generators or the mains power supply.
These systems all feature remote performance monitoring capability provided by integrated communications, including Modbus RTU and BACnet MSTP.
