Split Core and AC Current Transmitters

Define Instruments designs and manufactures split core and AC current transmitters.

Current transmitters provide accurate current signal measurements to monitor, improve efficiency, and optimise energy consumption.  The split core current transmitters are designed to allow the core to be opened and closed around a conductor without interfering with the circuit, thus facilitates easy installation. AC current transmitters, on the other hand, measure alternating current (AC) in a circuit and convert it into DC signal, typically 4-20mA or 0-10V output.

ADM Stocks Three Define Instruments Current Transmitter Models:

Both ACCS-420-L and ACCS-420 split core AC transmitter models convert AC current signals into industry standard 4-20mA signal. Either unit provides a low-cost alternative for measuring power and monitoring the operation of fans, pumps, and other equipment.

  • ACCS-420-L - Split Core AC Current Transmitter- Low Range, 4-20mA

The ACCS-420-L has three jumper selectable ranges, for measuring up to 50A.

  • ACCS-420 - Split Core AC Current Transmitter, 4-20mA

The ACCS-420 has three jumper selectable ranges, for measuring up to 200A.

  • ACCS-010 - AC Current Transmitter, 0-10V

The ACCS-010 is a loop-powered AC current sensor that converts an AC current signal into an industry standard 0–10V DC signal.
