Low Construction, High Reliability

The "low construction" designation means this housing sits closer to the panel surface than a standard-depth base, making it well suited to applications where depth behind the bulkhead is limited — control cabinets, equipment enclosures, and compact machine housings. Despite the reduced profile, it doesn't compromise on environmental protection: it's IP65 rated to IEC 60529, sealing out dust completely and resisting water jets from any direction. The housing body is aluminium die-cast, finished in a powder coat in RAL 7037 dust grey — a durable, corrosion-resistant surface suited to the wear and handling of industrial use. The sealing element is NBR (nitrile rubber), which maintains its elasticity across the full operating temperature range and resists oils, fuels, and many common industrial fluids. The locking levers are polycarbonate and stainless steel, rated UL 94 V-0 for flame retardancy — self-extinguishing with no dripping.

The housing carries DNV GL approval, making it suitable for marine and offshore installations. It is fully certified to UL 1977 (ECBT2.E235076) and CSA-C22.2 No. 182.3 (ECBT8.E235076) for the North American market.
