The Harting 09300160301 Han 16B HBM Double Lever is a size 16B bulkhead-mounted base housing from HARTING's Han® B series, designed to mount to a panel or cabinet wall and form the fixed installation point for a Han B 16B heavy-duty connector assembly. HBM stands for Horizontal Bulkhead Mounting — the housing sits flush against the panel surface in a low construction profile, with double locking levers and Han-Easy Lock® compatibility for fast, reliable connector engagement. It is the 16B counterpart to the Han B Base Panel 2 Levers (09 30 010 0301), stepping up in size for installations requiring more contact positions or greater current and signal density in a single connector interface.

Low Construction, High Capacity

The 16B designation places this housing in a larger size bracket within the Han B family, suited to applications where a 10B housing does not provide enough contact capacity. The low construction profile keeps the housing close to the panel surface, which matters in compact control cabinets and equipment enclosures where depth behind the bulkhead is limited. Despite its larger footprint, the housing maintains the same IP65 environmental rating and -40°C to +125°C operating range as smaller Han B housings, with no performance compromise as the assembly scales up.

Locking levers are polycarbonate and stainless steel, rated UL 94 V-0 for flame retardancy.

The housing carries DNV GL approval for marine and offshore use, and is fully certified to UL 1977 (ECBT2.E235076) and CSA-C22.2 No. 182.3 (ECBT8.E235076) for the North American market.
