The HARTING 09300240301 Han B Base Panel 2 Levers 24B is the largest size bulkhead-mounted base housing in the Han® B series range covered here, designed to mount to a panel or cabinet wall and form the fixed half of a size 24B heavy-duty connector assembly. At 24B, this housing accommodates the highest contact density and current capacity of the Han B panel base family, making it the choice for applications where a single connector interface needs to carry a large number of circuits simultaneously. It shares the same aluminium die-cast, low construction, Han-Easy Lock® double lever design as the 10B (09 30 010 0301) and 16B (09 30 016 0301) variants, scaled up to the demands of larger industrial connector assemblies.

The High-Capacity End of the Han B Base Range

Within the Han B bulkhead-mounted housing family, size progression — 10B, 16B, 24B — corresponds to increasing contact capacity. The 24B housing provides the largest panel footprint and the greatest number of available contact positions, suited to machinery, power distribution, and industrial systems where multiple power, signal, and control circuits must pass through a single robust connector point. The low construction profile keeps the housing close to the panel surface, maintaining depth efficiency even at the larger 24B format.

IP65, Wide Temperature Range, Double Lever with Han-Easy Lock®

The housing achieves IP65 to IEC 60529, fully excluding dust and resisting water jets from any direction. UL 50 / UL 50E Type ratings of 4, 4X, and 12 provide the recognised North American equivalents: protection against windblown rain and hose-directed water (Type 4), corrosion resistance (Type 4X), and indoor protection against dust and dripping non-corrosive liquids (Type 12). Operating range is -40°C to +125°C. The double locking levers distribute clamping force evenly across both sides of the housing, and Han-Easy Lock® compatibility allows one-handed simultaneous lever engagement — fast and reliable even on a larger 24B housing.

Aluminium Die-Cast, NBR Seal, UL 94 V-0 Locking Levers

The housing is aluminium die-cast, powder-coated RAL 7037 dust grey, built for the rigours of active industrial environments. At 135g it is the heaviest of the Han B base panel housing range, reflecting the larger 24B body. The NBR seal maintains IP65 across the full temperature range and resists oils and common industrial fluids. Locking levers are polycarbonate and stainless steel, rated UL 94 V-0 for flame retardancy.

The housing carries CE marking and DNV GL approval, and is fully certified to UL 1977 (ECBT2.E235076) and CSA-C22.2 No. 182.3 (ECBT8.E235076) for the North American market. It is RoHS and ELV compliant, and REACH Annex XIV and Annex XVII substances are not contained. One REACH SVHC substance is present: Potassium 1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,4-nonafluorobutane-1-sulphonate. California Proposition 65 substances Nickel and Naphthalene are also present.
