Han Insert Male 6 pin+E 16A Size 6B Screw Termination

The Harting 09330062601 Han E 06 Pos. M Insert Screw is a 6-contact male screw-termination insert for the HARTING Han E® connector system, sized to fit Han B size 6B housings. It provides 6 power/signal positions plus a dedicated PE (protective earth) contact, all terminated by screw clamp directly in the insert body — no separate crimp contacts required. Rated at 16 A per contact and 500 V, it covers the full Han E current rating across a wide conductor range of 0.75 to 2.5 mm² (AWG 18 to AWG 14), making it suitable for mixed wiring where conductor sizes vary across circuit positions.

Approved to DNV GL for marine and offshore applications, and certified to UL 1977, UL 2237, and CSA-C22.2 No. 182.3 for North American markets.

Han E® Insert System: Screw Termination vs. Crimp

The Han E® series supports two termination approaches for its inserts. In the crimp-contact system, individual contacts (such as the Han E M/F Crimp Contact Ag range) are crimped onto conductors separately and then inserted into a Han E insert body. In the screw-termination insert (this product), the contacts are integral to the insert body and conductors are secured directly with screw clamps — eliminating the need for a separate crimp tool or crimp contacts. Screw termination is well suited to field installation, panel wiring, and applications where crimping tools are unavailable or conductors may need periodic re-termination.

Insert Configuration

6 male pin contacts + 1 PE contact, all in a size 6B insert body. The PE contact provides a dedicated protective earth connection within the connector. Wire protection is included, guarding conductors at the point of termination against fatigue from vibration. The male insert typically occupies the fixed panel-mounted base side; its female counterpart occupies the cable-side hood.
