The Harting 09330162601 Han E 16 Pos. M Insert Screw is a 16-contact male screw-termination insert for the HARTING Han E® connector system, sized to fit Han B size 16B housings. It is the largest-capacity insert in the Han E screw-termination range covered here, providing 16 power/signal positions plus a dedicated PE contact in a single insert body — enabling high circuit density in a single Han B connector where multiple power, control, and signal conductors must be consolidated. All 16 contacts are terminated by screw clamp directly in the insert body; no separate crimp contacts or tooling are required.

Like the 6-position (09 33 006 2601) and 10-position (09 33 010 2601) screw inserts, this 16-position variant shares the same electrical rating of 16 A per contact at 500 V, the same 0.75–2.5 mm² conductor range, and the same approval profile including DNV GL, UL, and CSA certifications. The female counterpart is the Han E 16 Pos. F Insert Screw (09 33 016 2701).

16 Positions in Size 16B: Maximum Circuit Density

The Han E screw insert range scales progressively with Han B housing size:

- **16 positions** — size 16B (this product / 09 33 016 2701 female)

The 16-position insert is chosen where the highest number of circuits must pass through a single Han® connector — for example, in complex machine tools, multi-axis motion control systems, or modular equipment assemblies where consolidating 16 signal or auxiliary power circuits into one connector simplifies cabling, reduces panel space, and minimises connector count. At 86 g, the insert reflects the greater material volume of the larger 16B body compared to the 10B (61.44 g) and 6B (47.4 g) variants.
