LVDT Transducer, 1-10V Output

The RDP Electronics DCV series LVDT transducers are the perfect solution for measuring high speed and high frequency linear movements. The LVDT transducers offer a number of advantages over other types of linear position transducer. One key advantage with an LVDT transducer is that there is no physical electrical contact across the transducer position sensing element, an LVDT outputs clean data, has an infinite resolution and a very long life cycle. The RDP DCC series has an industry standard 1-10V output.

The series is available in three configurations to suit different applications:

• Unguided – a separate armature for true non-contact operation where external guidance is already provided (ranges from 5mm to 400mm)
• Captive guided – internal bearings guide the armature, ideal where external guidance is poor or end bearings are needed (ranges from 25mm to 940mm)
• Spring return – guided armature with an internal spring that drives it to full extension, useful where the armature can't be mechanically coupled to the moving part (ranges from 5mm to 150mm)

• Output: 0–10V DC (0V = inward full scale)

• Output ripple: 30mV peak-to-peak

• Linearity: ±0.5% F.S. standard, with ±0.25% or ±0.1% F.S. available on select models
• Temperature coefficient: ±0.03% F.S./°C typical
• Operating range: -40°C to 70°C
• Termination: 2m integral cable (longer lengths available on request)
