Die-cast metal protection cover for HARTING Han® B size 6B connector housings

The Harting 09300065425 Han B Protect Cover Die Cast for Base is a die-cast metal protection cover from HARTING, purpose-built for size 6B Han® B series heavy-duty industrial connector housings. It fits over the connector base — bulkhead mounted or surface mounted — whenever the connector is left unmated, sealing out dust, moisture, and physical knocks so the housing stays ready to perform when it's reconnected. It's a small accessory, but on a factory floor or outdoor installation it's what stands between a clean connector and a corroded, water-damaged one.

Sealed Against the Environment

Fitted to the base, the cover holds an IP65 rating to IEC 60529, blocking dust ingress entirely and withstanding water jets from any direction. It also carries UL 50 / UL 50E Type ratings of 4, 4X, and 12 — recognised North American enclosure ratings confirming protection against windblown dust, rain and hose-directed water (Type 4), corrosion resistance (Type 4X), and protection against dust and dripping non-corrosive liquids in indoor settings (Type 12). Combined with an operating range of -40°C to +125°C, the cover holds up in cold stores, outdoor switchgear, and high-heat plant environments alike.

Secure and Hard to Lose

A single locking lever clips the cover firmly onto the housing, so it won't work loose under vibration or routine handling.
