Analogue Amplifier With Digital Display / Panel Meter

Description

The E309 is a panel-mounted signal conditioner that transforms an LVDT displacement transducer's raw output into a boosted signal that can be used for logging, control, or monitoring. It provides both a local visual readout and a signal to feed downstream equipment from a single unit by combining an analogue output stage with a brilliant 4½-digit, 11mm LED display.

It provides 5V transducer excitation at up to 100mA (5kHz, adjustable 1–10kHz) and an analogue output of ±10V at up to 5mA, with an alternative 4-20mA output. It is compatible with LVDTs from almost any manufacturer because to its broad gain adjustment range, and setup only requires switches and potentiometers—no software is needed.

Voltage-free relay outputs rated to 24V DC/1A or 120V AC/0.3A are provided via built-in high/low limit trip functionality (2 channels, 5ms operating period), which is helpful for setting off alarms or basic process control. With linearity errors of ±0.1% F.S. and temperature coefficients of ±0.01% F.S./°C for both zero and span, performance is good for typical industrial application over a working range of 0–55°C. It weighs 1.3 kg, operates on a 120/240V AC (50/60Hz) supply, and fits inside a typical 139 x 67mm panel cut-out.

The E309 is not rated for safety, emergency-stop, or feedback applications where failure could result in equipment damage, injury, or death, according to RDP.
