Watlow Ultramic

Watlow ULTRAMIC® ceramic heaters can be customised for thermal applications for optimal process performance. These heaters are constructed using aluminum nitride (AlN) and incorporate a proprietary heating element that ensures maximum performance even in challenging conditions. AlN is particularly suitable for applications requiring a clean, non-contaminating heat source. Additionally, the excellent geometric stability ensures consistent thermal contact between parts during heating cycles. Watlow AlN ceramic heaters can operate at temperatures up to 400°C, with an ultra-fast ramp rate of up to 150°C per second, depending on the specific application, heater design, and process parameters. Beyond their excellent thermal characteristics, ULTRAMIC ceramic heaters offer high electrical isolation and superior chemical resistance compared to traditional metal heaters.
