Description

ULTRAMIC advanced ceramic heaters are built for demanding thermal applications where speed, cleanliness and reliability are critical. Constructed from aluminium nitride (AlN) with a thermally matched, proprietary heating element, they deliver ramp rates of up to 150°C per second and operate at surface temperatures up to 600°C (1112°F).

Because AlN is dense (>99% theoretical density), non-porous and impervious to moisture, ULTRAMIC heaters provide a clean, non-contaminating heat source — ideal for semiconductor, medical and analytical instrumentation applications. High dielectric strength and leakage current below 10 µA at 500VAC often eliminate the need for isolation transformers, even at standard line voltages.
