Eurotherm EPM Series

The Eurotherm Edge Process Management (EPM) series is a data-centric, scalable automation system designed for process quality control, optimisation, and efficiency management. The Eurotherm EPM series captures data directly at the edge, reducing latency and enabling real-time decision-making. This series features two variations, the EPM-07 and EPM-15, multi-touch widescreen displays.

The EPM series leverages I/O extenders to seamlessly scale and support over 200 high-precision analog channels, prioritising robust cyber security and unalterable data integrity. This system is an SL2-rated device, using tamper-resistant .uhh file format and embedded audit trails to ensure compliance with strict industry regulations, such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and SAE AMS2750.

The EPM series features a range of communication options, including segregated Ethernet ports for field and enterprise, support for various protocols, and remote monitoring via an HTML5 web server platform.

The Eurotherm EPM series replaces the now-obsolete Eurotherm 6000 and 6000XIO series of digital chart records and the Eurotherm 4100, 390, and 392 series of paper graphic chart recorders.

• User-Friendly Displays: Widescreen, multi-touch capacitive interfaces support pinch-to-zoom and swipe-to-navigate gestures for seamless operator interaction. 
• Remote Access: A built-in HTML5 web server delivers a highly responsive remote experience across PCs and smart devices, supporting up to 10 clients simultaneously.
• Encrypted Data Communication: The platform bridges field and enterprise networks via multiple segregated Ethernet ports and supports protocols such as OPC UA, PROFINET, Modbus TCP, EtherNet/IP, and MQTT. It also offers an optional Industry 4.0 cellular gateway for secure cloud transfers.
• Secure Data Storage: Secure-by-design (aligning with IEC62443 as an SL2 device), the system ensures unalterable data integrity using a tamper-resistant .uhh file format. It features embedded audit trails and password-protected individual user accounts.
