Description

The Watlow cMT X Series is a range of industrial-grade colour touchscreen HMIs designed to simplify process and machine control operations. Available in 4.3", 7", 10.1", and 15.6" sizes, all models are powered by a Quad-Core RISC processor with 1 GB RAM and 4 GB flash memory, and are optimised for seamless integration with Watlow controllers. The front panel carries a NEMA 4 / IP66 rating across the range, with cULus, CE, and RoHS certification, and a two-year warranty.

Display options range from 800×480 on the 4.3" and 7" entry models through to full 1920×1080 on the 15.6" (2430-8886). All models offer 16.7 million colours and wide viewing angles; the 15.6" model features a capacitive touchscreen with swipe, pinch, and multi-touch gesture support, while the remaining models use 4-wire resistive touch. All run on 24 VDC (±20%) and operate between 0°C and 55°C.

Connectivity is comprehensive — Ethernet (including Gigabit on select models), RS-232, RS-485, and USB host are standard, with support for over 100 protocols including MQTT and OPC UA for IIoT and cloud integration. Remote monitoring and control is available via VNC and web browser, with optional EasyAccess 2.0 providing secure mobile access and real-time push notifications from anywhere. Email alerting, data logging with Excel export, alarm and event management, recipe management, barcode scanning, SQL database integration (models 2430-8855 and 2430-8886), and user-programmable macros are all built in. User management supports up to 127 users across 12 access classes, with USB key login and object-level security. Up to 24 languages with full Unicode support simplifies global deployment.

All configuration is handled through the free EasyBuilder Pro software suite, which includes offline simulation, echo profile tools, a Recipe/Memory Editor, EasyConverter for log file export, and the cMT Diagnoser remote diagnostic tool for commissioning and troubleshooting — with no licensing fees.
