Pulsar SFM6.1 Specialised Flow Meter for Slurry Applications
The Pulsar SFM6.1 Slurry Flow Meter is a specialised flow meter designed for monitoring the flow rate of thick, abrasive slurry mixtures.
Similar to the Pulsar DFM 6.1, the SFM monitors Doppler signals provided by ultrasonic sensors. This provides an accurate, non-invasive solution for monitoring flow rate in the intended slurry pipeline.

Like most Pulsar ultrasonic flow meters, users simply couple the ultrasonic sensor around the intended pipeline before programming the material composition of the pipeline and the matter within.
The Pulsar SFM 6.1 differs from the DFM 6.1 by providing a much higher-powered transducer, enabling it to penetrate thicker pipelines and higher-density matter moving throughout the mining pipeline.
The SFM is suited for slurry, tailings, thick mining sludge, or media with high solids content (up to 40%) and abrasive content.
