The Ex-certified PR53GPEX refractometers meet IECEx Zone 2 safety standards with a monoblock design and C276 alloy wetted parts.
These Ex-certified process refractometers can be readily used in harsh conditions, such as nitric and caustic acid environments. An example is the use of PR53GPEX process refractometers in the alkylation process. The PR53GPEX is used to monitor sulfuric acid concentration during alkylate production in this process. With continuous concentration monitoring from the PR53GPEX, this process reduces overall wasted resources, resulting in savings in resource management, time, and associated costs.
