ADM now offers a range of Laumas large industrial platform scales for order.
The Laumas brand of load cells is known for its high-quality build and accurate resolution for various bulk and large-item weighing applications, with models catering to specific industries, including food & beverage, industrial, hazardous environments, and standard warehousing applications.
Given their larger form factor, the Laumas industrial platform scales are ideal for pallet weighing and flexible intermediate bulk containers, such as bulk bags, jumbo bags and super sacks.
These larger platform scales are designed to cater to bulkier weighing applications, from 1000kg up to 3000kg,
The large platform scales feature 4 x FTP load cells across the unit and come in various form factors, with the smallest ranging from 800mm x 800mm up to 1200mm x 1600mm, with maximum weight capability ranging from 1000kg up to 3000kg, depending on the model.
Laumas P-INOX and PO series Large Platform Scales for Washdown Environments
Laumas P-INOX Series
The Laumas P-INOX large platform scale series features an AISI 304 Stainless Steel platform and feet, with IP68-rated 17-4 Stainless load cell bodies and an IP67 junction box. IP69K ingress protection is also available upon request. This platform scales feature a fixed-deck design, preventing organics from infiltrating the unit.
This range also features ATEX & IECEx Zone 1-21, suitable for areas where gas, vapour and combustible dust are typical in daily operation.
The P-INOX series is available in 1500kg (1250mm x 1250mm) and 3000kg (1500 mm x 1500 mm) options.
The AISI 304 stainless steel bodies are the same steel grade used in food & beverage production, and the 17-4 stainless steel load cell bodies; these components remain resistant to corrosive and acidic washdown chemicals. Each section features IP67 or IP68 components, ensuring the electronics remain safe during washdown periods.

Laumas PO Series – Inspectable Platform Scale
The Laumas PO series is designed for environments that may require more rigorous inspection. The PO series features a tipper loading plate, supported by gas struts to tilt the top deck upwards. This feature exposes the internal frame to allow for inspection and cleaning of any organic matter, dust or chemicals that may get trapped during operation. The plate and internal framing are also AISI 304 stainless steel, with four FTP load cells comprised of corrosion-resistant 17-4PH Stainless steel with standard IP68 ingress protection. The PO series also features a standard IP67-rated junction box to house the system's equalisation board within.
The PO series system offers more weighing options than its P-INOX counterpart, with options for 600kg, 1500kg, and 3000kg, and form factors ranging from 800mm x 800mm, 1000mm x 1000mm, 1250mm x 1250 mm, and 1500mm x 1500mm.
The Laumas PO series features certifications for hazardous area environments, including ATEX Zone 2-22, Zone 1-21, and IECEx Zone 1-21.

Laumas P Series: Heavy-Duty General Weighing Applications
The Laumas P Series features a rugged painted steel design, ideal for the rigours of everyday warehouse handling from forklifts, pallet jacks and general crate traffic. The P Series features four AISI 420 stainless steel FTP load cells with standard IP68-rated ingress protection.
The P series supports optional accessories to optimise warehouse usage, including a heavy-duty painted steel MR access ramp and galvanised steel TELP pit frames for flush-to-floor installations.
The Laumas P series is available in 1500kg and 3000kg options, with form factors of 1250mm x 1250mm, 1200mm x 1500mm, and 1500mm x 1500mm.
The P series features ATEX Zone 2-22, Zone 1-21, and IECEx Zone 1-21 ratings for safe operation where combustible dust, gas, and vapours can occur.

Laumas PM Series: Dynamic and Mobile Weighing Applications
The Laumas PM series is designed for warehouses or sites that may be more dynamic and subject to regular setting changes, making it easier to move the platform to the item.
The PM series features an ultra-light anodised aluminium structure, making the scale lightweight to move around while remaining robust enough to handle loads up to 1000kg (form factor 1200 x 1600mm). This system features four FTP shear beam cells made from AISI 420 stainless steel with a standard IP68 rating and an IP67 stainless steel junction box housing the summing board.
The PM series is designed with handles and wheels, allowing a single operator to tilt and roll the platform wherever needed. This system also features adjustable steel feet that self-centre on a sphere. Unlike other large platform models, the PM series integrates ramps and safeguards in its standard design, allowing pallet jacks and trolleys to roll straight onto the platform.
Given its mobility in dynamic warehouse environments, this platform scale system is operationally safe in hazardous environments, with ATEX Zone 1-21, 2-22 and IECEx Zone 1-21 ratings.
