UniMeasure Draw Wire Sensors
Draw wire sensors, also known as string pots or cable extension transducers, can be utilised to measure the linear position of moving objects. The draw wire, comprised of a flexible braided wire, extends and retracts from a spool. In principle, the rotation of the internal spool, whether extended or retracted, is converted to an electrical signal corresponding to the linear displacement of the moving object.

UniMeasure LX Series
Designed as a cost-effective, economical solution, the LX series is suited for light to moderate-duty applications in dry environments. The LX series is an ideal option where size, weight and cost-effectiveness are required.
UniMeasure JX Series
The JX series is a versatile and economical option suited for light to moderate-duty applications. However, it is designed with an IP65 housing, making it suitable for both wet and dry environments. Additionally, the JX-HM range in the series is designed for non-contact Hall effect applications.
UniMeasure HX Series
Designed to be robust in harsh environments, the HX series features resistance to rain, washing, and submersion in various liquids. The HX series features options for both IP65 and IP68, ensuring optimal protection in otherwise harsh environments. The HX series also features a non-contact hall effect measurement solution in the HX-HM range.
UniMeasure ZX Series
The ZX series is the smallest draw wire sensor in the UniMeasure range, providing users with up to 38 mm displacement measurement in an incredibly compact linear variable differential transformer. The ZX series also features a non-contact Hall effect model, the ZX-HM-1.5, for users requiring Hall-effect-controlled measurements.
UniMeasure Standard Range
The UniMeasure Standard series comprises a precision potentiometer that provides absolute positioning with an analogue output. This series features a Nema 1/IP-40-rated aluminium cover housing, which can be mounted to most surfaces via the rectangular base plate. This draw-wire sensor features a standard perpendicular rope exit. However, options for side and bottom wire exit locations are available.
The UniMeasure standard range comprises four variations: PA series, PB series, P420 series, and P510 series.
