Displays for 4-20mA Pressure Transducers 

In many applications it is likely that the pressure transducer will be feed its output signal directly into a PLC. 

However, sometimes a localised read out is required, or the application at hand is a standalone project, where there is no PLC, or system controller.  

In either case ADM can offer a solution. 

Localised Display 

For a localised readout, the ESI PM1000 is a very simple solution. This is compatible with 4-20mA pressure transducers with a DIN43650 connector. This plug-on display simply fits between the transmitter plug and connecting cable socket 
and is powered from the 4-20mA current loop signal of the transmitter. No additional power source is required.

Process Indicators and Alarms 

If you need a standalone display that can give over pressure, or under pressure alerts then we suggest you consider the Eurotherm 32h8i/SG. 

This indicator and alarm unit features: 

  • 2 alarm relay outputs 
  • 2 off digital inputs as standard 
  • 240VAC, or 24VAC / VDC power supply options 
  • Process alarms - four internal alarm setpoints 
  • Custom text message display for event, alarm or process condition

Why Use a 4-20mA Pressure TransduceR?

Using a pressure transducer with a 4-20mA analogue output signal is usually convenient, because it is compatible with many PLCs that are commonly used in industrial and process applications around Australia.
